I developed and manage two activist websites / blogs for California for Democracy and Sonoma County DFA.

I have a long history of designing and executing large software projects, starting in 1983 developing the software that ultimately became known as AOL… continuing through the development of multimedia applications as a Senior Software Architect at Macromedia.

I also have a history of designing web technologies to support grassroots organizers, beginning with an interactive flyer tool for the Howard Dean campaign, developing the website for Jerry McNerney for Congress, which deployed custom grassroots volunteer management tools… and most recently I developed a set of Flash based blog adverts which allowed viewers to register support for campaigns by filling out a simple form right within the ad.

My work can be seen on a variety of progressive organization’s websites, including NAACP.com, John Edwards’ OneCorps.com, LinkTV.com, and Democracy for America.

I’ve also done custom development work for MoveOn.org, and have worked extensively with Jerome Armstong (MyDD) & Markos Moulitsas (DailyKos), including illustrating the cover to their book, "Crashing the Gates".

I’m a member of the Sonoma County Democratic Central Committee, a founding member of the California Democratic Party Progressive Caucus, and founding President of Sonoma County Democracy for America.
